This season, our in-house African Mosaique Collection for SS23/24 marks a deliberate return to our classic silhouettes. We're showcasing a range of caftans, boubous, tunics, and wraps, all crafted from hand-woven cotton fabrics meticulously created by our talented team of weavers in the newly established African Mosaique weaving department. I've had the pleasure of exploring new motifs and embracing neutral tones, collaborating closely with our skilled weavers. Drawing inspiration from both age-old designs and modern lines, we've crafted a collection that exudes elegance and timelessness. Our pieces feature tone-on-tone creamy weaves and motifs, infused with pops of tangerine orange, lime green, and coffee brown threads intricately woven throughout. The essence of the African Mosaique DNA remains strong, with our signature Kitenge fabrics seamlessly fused with the woven fabrics, resulting in a beautiful mosaic of cultural inspiration.
