We are excited to launch the Shimena Weaving Center at African Mosaique with the support of Ignite Fund / Heva Fund, supported by the EU and ACP Group. The goal of the center is to ensure that we are able to sustain and preserve this ancient and rich culture of traditional weaving. Ensuring the important role of the weaver in the local community and creating linkages with other creatives such as fashion designers. We provide training and encourage innovation and creativity to ensure new designs are produced regularly.
